It’s time again for us to gather and eat ourselves silly and party like the burners we are. Come on down to Kingman Wash for ChowderStock, the latest and greatest of our Leave No Trace events. Meet us out at Kingman Wash on Saturday, January 10th 2009 for a camping gathering of artistic-n-fun folks. Bring your crispy dried up Christmas tree for it to be included in Pallet Mans Christmas Tree burn! Please take off the lights and tinsel off your tree (angels are optional though) and bring it with ya, the more trees we have the larger the burn!

When: Saturday, January 10-11, 2009
Where: Kingman Wash, Lake Mead
Who: You, and your well-behaved spouses, kids and dogs.
Please note anyone under 21 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Underage drinking will NOT be tolerated!
Bring: BOYB (no glass!). For potluck bring chowder or an accompaniment to chowder. Power strips are available for crock pots. Bring Firewood we’ll have a burn barrel and fire circle going. Plenty of warm clothes and blankets to stay warm. Great vibes and happy tymes!!! Radical self-reliance is a great thing!
Directions: Go over the Hoover Dam, at mile marker two i.e. two miles past the dam is a left turn that goes under the new bypass bridge. This is Kingman Wash road. Take this road for 4 miles to the beach. That’s were we will be.
Don’t forget to bring your fun LED and burner toys. Blinkies, hula-hoops, fire spinners, drums…the more you participate the more fun it will be!
This is a LEAVE NO TRACE EVENT. Please take your trash with you. There will be aluminum recycling available and limited trashcans too. Please throw only aluminum in the recycling trashcans. Do not let anything hit the ground including cigarette butts and bottle tops. If you have a pickup or trailer and have extra room please grab a bag or two of trash to take back to town. We need to leave the beach cleaner than when we found it. Lets be good to the earth and our wild animal friends, please use the bathroom facilities at the top of the wash.
