Hi Ladies...
Just as a reminder...
Pre-registration early bird special is due by Nov. 2 for the workshop with Leyla Amir and Sacha on Nov. 8, 2009 in Las Vegas
The mini-workshops are:
Raks Saidi taught by Leyla Amir
Although Raks Saidi is more folkloric in nature and music, the movements are the foundation of Oriental ard are easily transferred to a more modern form with Oriental. You will be working on a choreographed routine and the music will be available in a performance format. Bring your zills so we can inject a little village noise!
Raks Tabla taught by Sacha
This part of the class will center on a tabla routine that goes with the Raks Saidi with lots of movements and breaks for a fun routine for you and your audience.
Both Leyla Amir and Sacha will be performing at local Las Vegas hafla's in October with this dance.
